Nanosaur 2: Hatchling Editor's Review

Nanosaur 2 is an adventure game.

Nanosaur 2 combines beautiful 3D graphics with a great sound and gameplay. It looks great, and captivates you with its story any adventure seeker.

You are a dinosaur that has to retrieve some stolen eggs. There are only 3 levels available. You have to fight for every egg, and transport them to the nearest warp gate. During the mission you will encounter different dinosaur species and machines with only one goal: to stop you.

Even if 3 levels don't sound that hard, the game is quite complex and only controlling your dinosaur is difficult enough. To fight the danger you get a protecting shield, different weapons and a turbo jet backpack for quick escape. You can collect different power-ups for recharging. The first 2 levels are easy compared with the 3'rd one. At the 3'rd level you will encounter bigger threats that won't hesitate to kill.

Multiplayer is not available in demo, but in full version you have to use a split-screen mode to play. Try to customize the keyboard controls in a way not to bother the person you play with. A network feature would be welcome.

The graphics are impressive, with great details on every corner. The landscapes and levels look amazing. The effects are nice and well realized. You can also get the possibility to play with 3D glasses for a better experience. You can chose to use "anaglyph" or "shutter" 3D glasses.

Pluses: excellent graphics, sounds and features.

Drawbacks / flaws: multiplayer battle available only in split-screen. Only 3 levels to play.

In conclusion: Excellent sounds and gameplay with exceptional graphics. If you enjoy adventure games, Nanosaur 2 will give you the right excitement.
